"State Farm, David Scholl Agent/ TAMMY first contacted me back in May during Memorial day weekend reference my mom's home in Marshall, TX. She was pleasant during this time and I am guessing to keep me as a customer. Moving forward in September the renewal was due and I given quote/amount and I accepted. Mortgage company was billed. On October 29,2024 I received a call saying the Mortgage company had not paid. I reach out the manager of the mortgage company and was told that they mailed out a check October 8,2024, within one minute I called State Farm "TAMMY" back and the check was found under some papers on her desk. Well now it December 30,2024 I get a bill for 368.94 and of course I call to find out why and TAMMY said there were not any notes in the account. I said please find out and call me back. TAMMY did not want to work that morning so "TAMMY" proceeded to tell me the policy went up. Well I told her it does not work that way. A policy does not change mid term or any time until it renews. TAMMY proceeded to argue with me and her tone was very hostile and saying it does, it does. Well I've been a home owner since 1990. TAMMY was not expecting me to have knowledge on such things go. I am very business oriented. So now I am wondering how many other people have TAMMY done this to. TAMMY never apologized for her outburst. TAMMY ended up driving to Longview, to get the check from the mortgage company because she dropped the ball. There are other State Farm agents in Marshall but I will be moving my business to another insurance company. Mine you I had to call several times before I got a response from anyone at that office. I will recommend everyone to move their business to another agent. I will not pay for BAD customer service. One customer down and many more to go. The power of social media and my mouth about my experience will shake things up."

"Ms. Jackson, I first want to say if at any time I seemed “hostile” it certainly was not my intent, and I apologize. I was frustrated that I had not been notified by your Mortgage company that they had received a cancellation, and that State Farm had not put any notes on the account as to why there would have been any increase in your premium. We are always notified about any change of premium, and the reasons why when a policy is issued so that we may discuss it and let the insured know prior to getting the billing. When I told you I would have to find out what this was about and that there were no notes, this is what I was talking about. I apologize again if you thought that I was frustrated in any way with you. . To address your concerns from the beginning, I was in contact with David about your account. I am not sure who you spoke with the first time you called. It was not me. The checks from the mortgagee at ETPCU are sent straight to State Farm Payment office. Richardson, TX or Bloomington, IL. After speaking several times with the payment office for State Farm, and with ETPCU, the check was nowhere to be found and was never in the hands or on the desk of any State Farm office. Your renewal was not until August of 2025. This policy was never officially issued. This is why there was another billing. It was for the time that the property was insured (time in Force). The billing was sent out to cover the time that the policy was bound without payment. I again am very sorry if you got the impression that I “didn’t want to work”. In the 45 yrs that I have been in the professional world, with a job, I have never been of the mind that I wasn’t there to work . After I got off the phone with you, I worked on getting your policy rewritten and talked with East Texas Professional to make sure you were covered on the insurance part of your agreement with them. I rewrote your policy, called and had them cut a check for the policy and I walked next door to that branch and picked it up. I then applied it immediately to the policy, so the coverage is bound with pmt in place. I did not do this because, “I dropped the Ball”, This is how we treat all clients from this office. I personally wanted to make sure that everything got covered. David called me in the Afternoon on Tuesday because I was on my own time on New Year’s Eve to make sure this was taken care of. This is something I would have done for anyone that this had happened to. Not because Anyone at State Farm “DROPPED THE BALL” but because it was a problem that I could help with. If there is anything else we can do to let you know that we were doing everything in our power to make sure that your property was covered, please let us know what that might be. We always appreciate your business and input. Tammy "
